One of Singapore’s brightest child actors, Izyan Mellyna Ishak started acting at the tender age of five. She has since toured Canada for The Vagina Monologues and Ediburgh for the play, The “F” Word. Her dedication to the craft and sense of humour made her one of the most unassuming character actors in the country.
Izyan’s versatility on stage lead her back to the television screens and she’s since clinched challenging roles in both the local Malay Channel, Suria and Channel 5. In 2013, Izyan lead the cast for the hit TV series, Walimah. In 2013 too, her dedication shines through as she beat over a hundred candidates to play the lead of Yasmin Muhammad in the film, Banting.
Award-Winning actor, Fauzie Laily was the second runner up in Singapore’s Malay channel annual singing competition, Anugerah. Spreading his wings after Anugerah, Fauzie has since been propelled to one of the most sought-after talent in the country. He now toggles between the local Malay channel, Suria and the English speaking channel, Channel 5.
Winning the most popular personality award and also best newcomer in Pesta Perdana, Fauzie also became one of the top 20 Most Popular Singapore Male Artiste in Anugerah Planet Muzik three years in a crow from 2010 to 2012.
Whether portraying a good guy, a bad guy and just about anything in between, JIMMY TAENAKA a versatile actor also a familiar face on television and film in Asia, Europe and the United States. His film credits include the award winning “L’Empire Du Tigre”, “Kung Fu Killer”, “The Shadow”, “The Lowlife”, “Tiger Team-Der Ber der 1000 Drachen”, “Ovunque Tu Sia”, “American Yakuza”, “Robocop 3” and “Showdown In Little Tokyo”.
Aside from acting; Jimmy was the Associate Producer on the feature film “Dance With The Dragon” starring Jason Scott Lee (Dragon: the Bruce Lee Story) and Fann Wong (Shanghai Knights), as well as one of the founding fathers of Olympic style wrestling in Singapore. Jimmy is represented by Fly Entertainment.
One of the most popular actresses in the country, Mastura Ahmad is known for her versatility and her ability to excel in both comedy and drama. Starting as a humble actress in the fledgling Malay theatre scene in the eighties, Mastura has since moved on to grace both the big screens and small with her deft touch and infectious energy.
She’s an award winning actress who’s won in both comedic and dramatic categories in the local awards show, Pesta Perdana. Mastura’s acting has since brought her across the Causeway to Malaysia and also in international films. A dedicated thespian through and through, Mastura Ahmad has since stepped up to make her directorial TV debut.
